Commercial property has a big impact on the environment and, as consultants, we have a big responsibility in ensuring the environmental sustainability of any property or development projects we manage.
We are committed to minimising our carbon footprint and that of our clients by reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. Our professional team will work with our clients to achieve their goals, irrespective of the size of the organisation or its targets.
The services we provide include:
Building or land purchases will often require an insight as to the historic uses of the site together with current activities in the vicinity. When acquiring commercial premises, it is important to assess the possible environmental “risk” associated with the site. Our professionals will carry out these assessments and provide as a standalone report or build them in to our other due diligence services.
The Energy Performance of Buildings Directive requires an Energy Performance Certificate [EPC] to be provided by the seller for non-domestic properties at the point of sale or lease. An EPC is required for any property that is over 50 m2 in size. Our qualified in-house professionals will prepare these certificates on behalf of customers.
From ensuring cost effective new utility connections, to ensuring existing supply is managed as efficiently as possible and renegotiating existing contracts our customers can leave their utility requirements in our capable hands, meaning they can concentrate on more important things, like running their business.
